Tile Setter



As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various surfaces such as floors, walls, and ceilings. You will work with different types of tiles including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and granite. Your main goal will be to ensure that the tiles are properly aligned and secured to create an aesthetically pleasing and durable surface.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using tools such as tile saws
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and leveling them
- Spread adhesive material evenly on the surface to be tiled
- Arrange tiles in a pattern or design according to specifications
- Use hand tools to shape tiles around obstacles like electrical outlets or pipes
- Fill grout joints with grout mixture and remove excess grout for a clean finish
- Apply sealants or other finishes to protect the tile surface
- Inspect and repair damaged or cracked tiles
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role
- Knowledge of various tiling materials, patterns, and designs
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings
- Familiarity with different tile cutting tools and techniques
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a variety of environments (e.g. hot/cold weather, cramped spaces)
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

This position is located in Izhevsk, Russia.
