Senior Architect vacancy in Funchal Portugal

Senior Architect

We are searching for a skilled Senior Architect to join our team in Funchal. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Architecture and at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee construction of various architectural projects
- Ensure that all designs meet building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with clients and team members to develop project plans and budgets
- Review and approve project drawings, plans, and specifications
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control
- Mentor and supervise junior architects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an architect
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working on projects in Funchal or Portugal. Accommodation can be provided for candidates who are not local to the area.
