Junior Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing team in Lisbon. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and models to support our company's data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and data analysis, as well as experience with programming languages such as Python and R.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models for various projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for utilizing machine learning techniques.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
- Optimize existing machine learning models to improve accuracy and performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing and implementing machine learning algorithms.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R or Java.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
