Merchandiser for Fashion Retail Store in Braga, Portugal

A reputable fashion retail store in Braga, Portugal is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper presentation and promotion of our products in-store and online. Your main objective will be to maximize sales by maintaining appealing displays and implementing effective merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain visual displays that are attractive and in line with the brand image
- Plan and execute in-store promotions and events to drive sales
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with buyers to ensure adequate stock of merchandise
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities
- Train store staff on product knowledge, visual merchandising techniques, and customer service skills

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the fashion industry
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising techniques, retail operations, and inventory management
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Physical fitness to handle heavy lifting when setting up displays or rearranging store layout

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month. The working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. As this is a physically demanding job, you must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. Accommodation will not be provided.
