Job Title: Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Porto. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring our network infrastructure and ensuring its smooth functioning. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting any network issues, implementing security measures, and managing system backups.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues, and optimize network usage
- Maintain and upgrade network equipment, such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Implement security measures to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats
- Perform regular backups of system data and ensure they are stored securely
- Troubleshoot network issues reported by users and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new network solutions
- Keep track of inventory for all hardware and software related to the network
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network connectivity or software issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technology

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Excellent understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Proficient in configuring routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
