Part-Time Interpreter



We are seeking a qualified and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Porto. As a part-time Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing interpretation services for clients in various settings, including business meetings, conferences, and medical appointments.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between non-English speaking clients and English-speaking professionals
- Interpret spoken communication accurately and objectively in real-time
- Provide cultural and linguistic expertise to ensure effective communication
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality while interpreting
- Adhere to professional standards and ethics of the interpreting profession
- Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry terminology and practices

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an interpreter
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (Portuguese preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with medical or legal terminology is a plus
- Must have authorization to work in Portugal without visa sponsorship

This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$. Candidates must be able to work without accommodation.
