Fitter - Almada, Portugal



We are in need of a skilled Fitter to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems and components according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month. Accommodation and visa sponsorship will also be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Cut, shape, and fit materials to required specifications
- Assemble and install mechanical systems such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot issues with mechanical systems and make necessary repairs
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor duties
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training is a plus
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
