Head Chef - International Cuisine
We are hiring a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and create delicious international dishes in our restaurant. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for planning menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food is consistently served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and diverse menus featuring international cuisine
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of all dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain stock levels
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisines, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Proficiency in menu planning, food costing, inventory management, and budgeting
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Nepali or Urdu is a plus)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Triesen (residency in Liechtenstein is preferred but not required)
