Entry Level Software Tester in Faro, Portugal


We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Software Tester to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Tester, you will be responsible for identifying and reporting software defects, creating and executing test cases, and ensuring the overall quality of our software products. This is an entry level position suitable for students or recent graduates with a biometric passport looking to gain experience in the field of software testing. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with developers to identify and document software defects
- Create and execute test cases based on project requirements
- Perform regression testing to ensure bug fixes do not cause new issues
- Report test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and potential issues
- Continuously learn about new testing techniques and tools to improve efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience with any programming language (Java, Python, C++, etc.)
- Familiarity with software testing concepts such as black box/white box testing, regression testing, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Must have a biometric passport for international travel
