Experienced Turner in Funchal, Madeira


We are hiring an experienced Turner to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning machines to fabricate metal parts and components. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines according to specifications
- Read blueprints and schematics to determine appropriate machining operations
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other team members on projects

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or production setting
- Knowledge of various turning machines (CNC, lathe, drill press)
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with different types of metals (steel, aluminum, brass)
- Experience using CAM software for programming CNC machines
- Prior experience working in the automotive or aerospace industry
