We are seeking a talented Android developer to join our dynamic team in Porto, Portugal. As an Android developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. Your role will involve working closely with the product team to understand user requirements and translating them into technical solutions. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing applications, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving the overall performance of our apps.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in mobile app development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Android developer
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This is a full-time position based in Porto, Portugal. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this role.
