Android Developer - Contract Position in Porto

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Porto on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. This is a contract position without accommodation, offering a competitive salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Android app development
- Strong understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Solid knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred
