Part-Time Civil Engineer in Porto, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support on various construction projects. You will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with design plans and specifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and identify any potential issues
- Review design plans and specifications to ensure they are accurate and feasible
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop cost-effective solutions for construction challenges
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculations as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor project budgets and timelines to ensure projects stay on track
- Communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in civil engineering or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, techniques, codes, and standards
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software programs
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
