Pastry Chef for High-End Restaurant in Porto, Portugal
Our restaurant in Porto is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads that will leave a lasting impression on our guests. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop new menu items and ensure consistency and quality in all pastry offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques and ingredients
- Ability to create visually appealing and delicious desserts
- Strong leadership skills to manage a team of pastry cooks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Portuguese cuisine
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and execute all pastry items on the menu
- Develop new recipes and menu items in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Train and supervise junior pastry cooks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all pastries are presented beautifully on plates before being served to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen at all times
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
