IT Manager


We are hiring an experienced IT Manager to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. Your main duties will include managing a team of IT professionals, implementing and maintaining hardware and software systems, ensuring data security and privacy, and providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and leadership skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation and visa sponsorship may be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Develop and implement information technology strategies to support company objectives
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems
- Ensure data security and privacy by implementing appropriate measures
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system improvements
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and services procurement
- Develop budgets for IT expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology management role
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience with Windows server administration
- Knowledge of data security principles
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred:
- Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience working in the hospitality industry
