Junior DevOps Developer



We are a fast-growing technology company based in Almada, seeking a highly motivated Junior DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and automating processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Automate deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of software
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, including performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide solutions for continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting in order to maintain high availability of systems
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to DevOps practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, Ruby)
- Knowledge of cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a DevOps role or on a development team utilizing DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of source control systems (Git)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Chef)
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP)

Salary: $1200 per month.
