Instrument Technician


As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of instrumentation and control systems in our industrial setting. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning properly and accurately. Your duties will include troubleshooting any issues, replacing faulty components, and calibrating instruments to ensure accurate readings. You must have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles, as well as experience working with various types of instrumentation. This is a physically demanding job that may require working in confined spaces or at heights. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Salary: $1300 per month.

City: Clairvaux, France.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an instrument technician.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with various types of instrumentation.
- Physically fit to perform job duties.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation equipment including flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all instruments are functioning properly.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues with instrumentation systems.
- Replace faulty components as needed.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities performed on instruments.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex technical problems.
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times while performing job duties.
