Instrument Technician



We are hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Clairvaux. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments and control systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on instruments and equipment
- Use technical manuals and diagrams to diagnose and resolve issues
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop solutions for complex problems
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and regulations
- Keep accurate records of work performed and inventory of spare parts
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Technical degree or diploma in Electronics or related field
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and instrumentation systems
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters
- Knowledge of PLCs, DCSs, SCADAs is a plus
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
