Web Designer


We are a digital agency based in Porto, and we are looking for a highly skilled and creative Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our clients' brand and business goals. You should have a strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and web development to create effective designs. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A biometric passport is required as some projects may require international travel. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1400 per month without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing visually appealing websites using Adobe Creative Suite
- Collaborating with clients to understand their brand and business goals
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for various platforms
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of designs
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Communicating design ideas effectively to clients and team members

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles
- Familiarity with SEO principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Biometric passport (or willingness to obtain one) for potential international travel

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience with WordPress or other content management systems
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
- Experience working in an agency setting
