Heavy Equipment Operator

We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and front-end loaders. Your main duty will be to use these equipment to move materials, load trucks, and perform other construction-related tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently according to company procedures
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before starting work each day
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry
- Proven experience operating various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and front-end loaders
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read project plans and specifications
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1800$ per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
