Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in our fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful city of Braga. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a unique and innovative menu in line with our restaurant's concept and standards. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and high-quality menus that meet the expectations of our guests
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency in food preparation
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor combinations, and plating presentations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Proven track record in menu development and cost control management
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, management, and suppliers
- Must have valid work visa for Braga
