Electrical Engineer - Power Distribution

Our engineering firm in Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for power distribution across various projects. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems and components for power distribution
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed projects
- Collaborating with other engineers and project managers to ensure project success
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to power distribution systems
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Managing project timelines and budgets

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power distribution system design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP or other electrical design software
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred qualifications:
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Experience with renewable energy systems design
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations in Atlanta
- Experience working with utility companies
