Mason Assistant

As a Mason Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Mason in the construction and repair of structures such as walls, floors, and other surfaces. Your main duties will include gathering materials, mixing cement and other building materials, and assisting with the installation and repair of bricks, blocks, and stones. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining tools and worksites, as well as providing general support to the Mason.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong work ethic and be physically fit. Previous experience in construction or masonry is not required but would be an advantage. As this is a contract job without accommodation provided, you should be able to arrange your own housing in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:
- Gather materials such as bricks, blocks, stones, cement, and other building materials
- Mix cement according to specifications
- Assist with installation of bricks, blocks and stones
- Clean and maintain tools and worksites
- Provide general support to the Mason

Requirements:
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn from experienced Masons
- Ability to understand basic instructions in English or Portuguese
- Previous experience in construction or masonry preferred but not required

Salary: 1600$ per month
