Junior Commercial Architect


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Architect to join our team in Funchal. As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will work alongside our senior architects and assist with the design, planning, and construction of commercial buildings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about architecture and wants to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop design concepts for commercial projects
- Conduct site visits and gather necessary information for project planning
- Prepare detailed drawings, models, and renderings using CAD software
- Assist with project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with contractors
- Research building codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all designs
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in order to incorporate new techniques into projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in commercial architecture
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
- Understanding of construction processes and materials

Salary: 1600$ per month
