Part-time Construction Manager
A reputable construction company in Almada is seeking a Part-time Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to work independently. This position does not come with accommodation, so candidates must either be local to Almada or willing to commute.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Review and approve contractor invoices.
- Conduct site visits to ensure work is being completed according to plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the construction industry is required.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in budgeting and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Salary: $900 per month (based on part-time hours)
Location: Almada (candidates must either be local or willing to commute)
