Fitter Technician

We are in need of a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Akron. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical systems
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects on time
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in mechanical engineering is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Akron, Ohio, USA
