Computer Support Specialist


As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users in the city of Almada. Your main role will be to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to user inquiries and providing technical support via phone, email, or in person.
- Diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues.
- Installing and configuring computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Setting up new user accounts and profiles.
- Maintaining system security by performing regular updates and backups.
- Assisting with network troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Providing training to users on new software or systems.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a technical support role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and hardware components.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this full-time position. Salary may vary based on experience level.

Location:
This position is located in Almada but may require occasional travel within the surrounding areas.
