Turner - Metalworking Specialist (Lahore, Pakistan)



As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machinery to create precision parts and components. Your expertise in metalworking techniques and attention to detail will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metalworking machines such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and other specifications to determine the best approach for machining
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and problem-solve any issues that arise during the production process
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in metalworking field
- In-depth knowledge of metalworking techniques and machinery operation
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for operating machinery for extended periods of time

Salary: 1800$ per month
