Formworker

A construction company in Porto is seeking a skilled Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating the molds that hold concrete in place during construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in formwork and be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. You should also possess strong math skills and have the ability to use various hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build, assemble, and install formwork using various materials such as wood, steel, or plastic
- Measure and cut materials according to blueprints and specifications
- Use hand and power tools to secure formwork in place
- Pour concrete into formwork and smooth surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Remove formwork after concrete has cured
- Inspect completed forms for defects or imperfections

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Strong math skills with the ability to calculate measurements accurately
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites within Porto

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.
