Office Assistant in Funchal, Portugal
Our office in Funchal, Portugal is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents
- Assist with data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Coordinate with vendors for office maintenance and repairs
- Assist with general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and printing
- Other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in Office Administration or related field is a plus
- Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other computer programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
