Job Title: Turner - Faro, Portugal


We are hiring a skilled Turner to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to shape metal parts to precise dimensions. Your duties will include reading blueprints, setting up and adjusting equipment, measuring and inspecting finished products, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the production process.

To excel in this role, you should have strong technical skills and knowledge of different types of machine tools. You must also be detail-oriented and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Additionally, you must be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations
- Set up and adjust machine tools including lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the production process
- Ensure quality control standards are met
- Maintain machinery by cleaning and performing regular maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production flow

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of different types of machine tools
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Physically fit to handle heavy machinery
