Contract Game Developer - Almada

As a Contract Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing creative and engaging games for our company. Your expertise in game development will play a crucial role in ensuring our games are enjoyable and successful. You will work closely with the rest of the development team to bring ideas to life and deliver high-quality products on time.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new games from concept to launch
- Collaborate with other team members to generate game ideas and concepts
- Write efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code
- Implement game features such as gameplay mechanics, user interface, audio, etc.
- Test and debug games to ensure they meet quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in game development using Unity or other similar platforms
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as C# or C++
- Experience working on mobile or web-based games preferred
- Knowledge of 2D/3D graphics programming is a plus
- Highly creative with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of $1600 per month. Please note that accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own visa to work in Almada.
