Data Mining Analyst

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our fast-growing team in Braga. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for mining and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will drive business decisions. Your role will require you to use various data mining tools and techniques such as data cleansing, data modeling, and predictive analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, mathematics, and computer science with excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data from various sources
- Using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends in the data
- Developing algorithms and models to extract valuable insights from the data
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions
- Preparing reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Continuously monitoring data quality and making necessary updates or adjustments
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python or R
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (e.g. SPSS)
- Familiarity with database systems (e.g. MySQL)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret large datasets
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Salary: $1800 per month with accommodation provided. This is an urgent job with free visa sponsorship and ticket for the right candidate.

Location: Braga, Portugal (open to candidates of any nationality)
