Office Assistant - Lisbon, Portugal
As an Office Assistant in our bustling Lisbon office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our daily business activities. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, organizing meetings and appointments, maintaining office supplies, and greeting visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication, including emails, phone calls, and mail
- Schedule and organize meetings and appointments for the team
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with travel arrangements for staff members
- Update company databases and prepare reports as needed
- Help with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing and data entry
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own visa or work permit for Portugal is required
