Head Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are a well-established restaurant located in the charming city of Vianden, seeking an experienced Head Chef specializing in Indian cuisine. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a diverse menu that showcases the rich and vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and plan menus for lunch and dinner service that highlight traditional and modern Indian dishes
- Source high-quality ingredients and oversee food preparation to ensure consistency and quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper food cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in an Indian restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional specialties
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
Salary: $1300 per month
