As the Head Chef at our upscale restaurant in Eschen, Liechtenstein, you will be responsible for managing the culinary operations and leading a team of talented chefs. Your role will be crucial in creating and maintaining a high-quality dining experience for our guests, while also ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Create innovative and enticing menus that meet our high standards and cater to dietary restrictions
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and pricing
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards success
- Excellent communication skills with both kitchen staff and guests
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining quality standards
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
