Indian Cuisine Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at a luxury restaurant in Eschen. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine, including the use of traditional spices and cooking techniques. They will also have experience in creating innovative and visually appealing dishes that showcase the richness and complexity of Indian flavors.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create seasonal menus featuring authentic Indian dishes.
- Source high-quality ingredients from local suppliers.
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling, preparation, and plating techniques.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Monitor food costs and work within budget constraints.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations.
- Ability to create visually appealing dishes with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Culinary degree or certification preferred.
Salary:
$1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location:
Eschen, Liechtenstein. Preference for candidates with authorization to work in Liechtenstein.
Note:
This position is open to all nationalities. Fluency in English is required.
