Excavator Operator



We are searching for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of excavators and related equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance is performed
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, or plans to determine work requirements
- Coordinate with ground crew to ensure efficient and safe operation
- Monitor machine operation and adjust controls as needed to maintain proper depth and angle of excavation
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery
- Knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints or plans and follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness skills
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with ground crew effectively

Salary: $1700/month (based on experience)
