Temporary Truck Driver

We are in need of a temporary truck driver to assist with deliveries in and around Almada. The ideal candidate will have experience driving large commercial vehicles and possess a valid driver's license. As a temporary employee, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one location to another and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated locations
- Follow traffic laws and maintain safe driving practices at all times
- Load and unload cargo onto the truck using appropriate equipment
- Inspect truck for any mechanical issues before and after each trip
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license for commercial trucks
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Clean driving record with no accidents or traffic violations
- Ability to operate GPS systems and read maps
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills

This is a temporary position with the potential for extension based on performance. We offer competitive pay of 1700$ per month along with visa sponsorship for non-EU nationals.
