Junior Librarian - Eschen, Canada


Our library is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Librarian to join our team in Eschen, Canada. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the library and providing excellent customer service to our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloging and organizing library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Help patrons locate and check out books, magazines, and other materials
- Provide reference services to patrons by answering questions and helping with research inquiries
- Plan and conduct educational programs and events for library users of all ages
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library space
- Assist with collection development by recommending new materials for purchase
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Experience working in a library setting is an asset, but not required
Salary:
$1300 per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
Contract job - 6-month contract with possibility of extension
