Data Mining Specialist

We are hiring a skilled Data Mining Specialist to join our team in Funchal. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in data mining and be proficient in relevant software tools and programming languages.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Using advanced statistical methods to analyze data and identify patterns
- Creating predictive models to forecast future trends
- Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborating with other team members to develop data-driven solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data mining or a similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R or other programming languages
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
