Back-End Developer for Biometric Passport System in Braga



We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Braga and work on the development of a new biometric passport system. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side logic of the system, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement server-side applications and databases for the biometric passport system
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing systems
- Ensure data security and protection by implementing data encryption and secure authentication methods

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, ideally working on web-based systems
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with database management systems (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. As we are developing a biometric passport system, preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with biometric technology or have experience working on projects related to government systems. However, all qualified applicants will be considered.
