Registered Dietitian - Faro, Portugal


We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Dietitian, you will work with individuals and groups to promote healthy eating habits and develop personalized nutrition plans based on their specific needs. You will also provide education and counseling on nutrition-related topics, such as weight management, food allergies/intolerances, and chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' nutritional status and needs
- Develop individualized nutrition plans in accordance with dietary guidelines and clients' health goals
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
- Provide education and counseling on nutrition-related topics to individuals and groups
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex health conditions
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing dietitian preferred
- Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines, food allergies/intolerances, and chronic disease management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary & Benefits:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of 1600$ per month, based on qualifications and experience. In addition, we provide accommodation assistance for non-local candidates who require relocation. We also offer visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
