Part-Time Caregiver in Almada, Portugal



We are hiring a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals in Almada, Portugal. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for helping clients with their daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders. This is a part-time position with the potential for additional hours.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication under the direction of a healthcare professional
- Help with meal planning and preparation according to dietary restrictions
- Accompany clients on errands or appointments as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a caregiver or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in healthcare is a plus
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is preferred
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Proficient in Portuguese; knowledge of other languages is an asset

Benefits:
