Job Title: Librarian



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Balzers. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library collection, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and developing engaging library programs and events. You must have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of library systems and resources, and the ability to work independently. This position requires at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Accommodation can be provided for all nationalities. Fluency in English is preferred.

Salary: $1100 per month
Location: Balzers, Liechtenstein

Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization, cataloging, and shelving of library materials
- Assist patrons with research and reference inquiries
- Develop and implement engaging library programs and events
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions and activities
- Conduct regular inventory and make recommendations for new purchases
- Train new staff members on library procedures and resources
- Stay updated on current trends in library science to improve services offered

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Knowledge of library systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification or Library of Congress Classification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Proficiency in English (fluency preferred)
