Job Title: Web Developer - Funchal, Portugal


We are hiring a skilled Web Developer to join our growing team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites according to client specifications. You will also play a key role in maintaining and updating existing websites to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing responsive websites with clean and efficient code
- Collaborating with graphic designers to create visually appealing website layouts
- Troubleshooting and debugging website issues to ensure smooth functionality
- Conducting website performance tests and implementing necessary optimizations
- Updating and maintaining existing websites with new features or content updates
- Ensuring cross-browser compatibility for all websites
- Implementing SEO best practices for improved website rankings

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of front-end web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal
- Familiarity with server-side languages such as PHP or Ruby on Rails
- Experience with responsive design principles and mobile optimization techniques
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

Salary:
We offer competitive salary packages starting at 1600$ per month based on experience.

Visa Requirements:
Candidates must have their own visa that allows them to work in Portugal.
