Interpreter (English-Speaking)
Location: Utena, Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled and fluent English-speaking Interpreter to join our team in Utena, Canada. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking clients and non-English speakers in a variety of settings, including meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have experience working as an interpreter and possess strong language proficiency in both English and the language(s) they will be interpreting. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken messages accurately and effectively from English to the target language(s) and vice versa.
- Facilitate communication between clients who do not share a common language.
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, courtrooms, etc.
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
- Research specialized terminology to ensure accuracy of interpretation.
- Assist with document translation when needed.

Requirements:
- Fluency in English (native or near-native level).
- Proficiency in at least one other language (preferably French or Spanish).
- Proven experience working as an interpreter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of different cultures and customs.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different environments.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings or weekends when needed.
