Finisher - Wood Furniture

As a Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to wood furniture pieces using various techniques and tools. Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will ensure that our products have a flawless finish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply finishes such as paint, stain, varnish, or lacquer to wood furniture pieces according to specifications
- Prepare surfaces by sanding and smoothing them for even application of finishes
- Mix and match colors and stains to achieve desired results
- Use spray guns, brushes, or rollers to apply finishes
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures when working with chemicals
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or corrections
- Maintain equipment and tools used in finishing processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finisher or in a similar role in the woodworking industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of different types of wood finishes and their application techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, brushes, spray guns etc.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time while working
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
