Typesetter for Publishing Company in Ufa, Russia


A reputable publishing company in Ufa, Russia is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for designing and formatting printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. This role requires excellent attention to detail and strong technical skills in typography, layout design, and digital publishing software.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format text, images, and illustrations for publications using digital publishing software
- Create visually appealing layouts for various printed materials
- Ensure accuracy of page layout, including font size and type, margins, spacing, and placement of images
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure the final product meets quality standards
- Make adjustments to layouts based on feedback from team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital publishing software

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design or related field
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong technical skills in typography and layout design
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- Familiarity with digital publishing software such as QuarkXPress or Scribus is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Fluency in Russian is preferred but not required

Salary:
1600$ per month

Ufa, Russia (no English required)
