Radio Technician

A reputable radio station in Muscat is seeking a skilled and experienced Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all radio equipment used for broadcasting. This includes transmitters, receivers, antennas, and other related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radio technology and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This position offers a salary of 1300$ per month and is open to both Nepali and foreign applicants. No English proficiency is required for this role. This is a part-time position without accommodations provided, but we offer free visa and ticket for all employees. Prior experience in radio technology is not mandatory but preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance checks on all radio equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and make necessary repairs
- Monitor broadcast signals to ensure quality and clarity
- Install new equipment as needed
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with radio equipment
- Strong understanding of radio technology, including transmitters, receivers, antennas, etc.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
